An award-winning impact-entrepreneur, intrapreneur, and grassroots community organiser, Ryan helps leaders to build, scale, and nurture community-first propositions.
Ryan is Senior Founder’s Associate to Claudine Adeyemi-Adams at Earlybird. Earlybird brings frontier AI technology to essential citizen services like employment, justice, and housing support services. Earlybird uses AI and Voice technology to alleviate the admin burden from the frontline staff delivering these services; saving them time and helping them engage in over 90 langauges helps them get back to doing what they do best - providing human-centred, personalised public services.
Ryan served on Google Insight and Innovation’s Global Youth Advisory Board (via Canvas8) for 4 years, leading on the UK market.
Ryan is an 12-handicapped golfer, men’s mental health and unpaid carer advocate and campaigner, few-time angel investor, ex-trustee, speaker, and writer based in North London, UK.

Raising Funds, Having Fun
Ryan runs McGee’s, an events-based charitable initiative in aid of three charities close to his lived experience.
McGee’s splits its work across three recipient charities:
Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital who supported Ryan from birth until age 5
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity who supported Ryan, his Mum, and wider family during his Mum’s breast cancer journey, during which Ryan was an unpaid carer
Campaign Against Living Miserably who provides national mental health and suicide prevention support, particularly for men struggling with mental health challenges
Work With Me
I currently support people, companies and non-profits through 4 channels.
- Operating: ground-up, hands-on support across GTM, Partnerships, and Operations. Usually, early stage startups and scale ups.
- Consulting on: Gen Z, Innovation, Labour Market Policy. Usually trade bodies, charities.
- Facilitation and Moderation: I facilitate research and host everything from events to panels and podcasts. Usually, communities or service-based B2B offers.
- Investing: I’m write1-3 cheques a year; usually via an S/EIS SPV/crowdfund into EdTech, Future of Work, B2B SaaS - anything that supports human flourishing.
