House Hack
Co-Founding
House Hack is a Talent Accelerator and Consultancy that partners start-up businesses with young talent. I founded it with my friend and colleague Charlie Rogers during the summer of 2020, starting it as a COVID-lockdown project.
It’s aim is to help young people, students and graduates develop skills and experience whilst networking and providing businesses with fresh perspectives and access to amazing talent.
House Hack began as I was graduating from Loughborough University where I studied Management Science. I graduated with the 2:1 that I wanted and am now diving straight into self-employment and entrepreneurship with House Hack. I had always wanted to work for myself and didn’t think it’d be this soon!
For the record…
We started off 2021 with over 150 community members, having run 10 successful events with an average rating of 8.9/10, and having supporting 28 different businesses of varying scale. To top it all off, we have a 99% recommendation rate!
Building House Hack is allowing me to create a better world for young people and add value to businesses that I want to work with. It’s been a great journey so far and I hope you’ll follow along or come and say hi!
You can find out more about what we do and how we can help you as a young person, small business or larger business on the House Hack website.
Passion projects
It’s personal
Alongside House Hack, I take on passion projects that align with that personal mission of creating a more equitable world through service. I always take on more, I can’t help it.
Here’s a flavour of what I’ve worked on before and how I can contribute to your business, organisation, event or show. If you’re feeling it, get in touch :)
- Consulting: Business Strategy and Development.
- Writing: Blogging and Article Features.
- Speaking: Podcast Features and Keynotes.
Prospect 100
I support Prospect 100 on their Business Development and Media Strategy as they empower the next generation of talent across industries with their icon-led competitions.
MindMapper
I am a contributing writer and workshop creator for MindMapper UK, the virtual mental health gym to help young people understand and manage their mental health as well as get signosted to appropriate services.
Enactus
I mentor the Enactus Loughborough team year-on-year, helping to develop local social impact initiatives and build small social enterprises which have big impact. Each year, a new team takes over and is judged on the impact their projects have at the National Competition; pitching over 40 universities across the UK against each other.
Other SME’s
I have supported small business owners to set up their own business, refine their value proposition and build appropriate systems to meet their needs. Such as Ben Hughes, a Master in Sports Psychology and Megan Gamble, Founder of #Me which facilitates mental health support in Universities.
